Our Mission at Pet Alert
Pet Alerts mission is to always aide pets in
emergency situations and provide a solution to
the epic problem of pets being injured, killed or
lost during 911 emergencies; such as a house
fire, auto accident, pet owners' medical
emergency or death.
Pet Alerts goal is to provide pet parents the
education and resources to help prevent injury
or death of their pets by giving detailed
information (not just a window sticker) to first
responders to help locate and make rescue
possible, plus their contacts that can care or
house their pets, if needed.
Pet Alert is dedicated to safeguarding
animals and first responders during
911 emergencies.
Our founder, Camy Thumwood has over 25 years
of intensive background and experience in pet
safety education and pet fire life safety, as well as
pet disaster preparedness. She has worked
intensively with all emergency departments
throughout the USA, Canada and beyond to
understand the requirements that all pet lovers
should follow to save time and help in protecting
their animals before, during and after a 911
emergency or a natural disasters.
